Content embedded from other companies
Some pages on this site include typefaces hosted by Google, Google’s reCAPTCHA anti-spam check. Advertising, remarketing and call tracking
This site advertises on Google. Three things follow from that, and they are worth stating plainly rather than leaving inside the table above.
- Remarketing. Google is told that a browser visited this site, so that Forerunner’s ads can be shown to that browser again later on Google and on other websites in Google’s network.
- Conversion measurement. If you arrived from a Google ad and then send an inquiry or call, Google is told that the ad led to it. Google reports this to us as a count, not as your name.
- The telephone number you see can change. Google’s call tracking may replace the number displayed on this site with a Google forwarding number that connects to the same office. It is used to work out which ad produced the call. If it is in use, the call is routed through Google before it reaches us.
None of this happens until you accept advertising cookies on the banner.
Security and delivery
This site is delivered through Cloudflare. If Cloudflare needs to confirm that you are a person rather than automated traffic, it may place a short-lived cookie in your browser for that purpose. This happens only when a visit is challenged; it does not happen on an ordinary visit.
Your choice
When you first arrive, a banner asks what you want. Accept all turns on the analytics and advertising cookies listed above. Reject all leaves them off. Manage preferences lets you decide category by category. Refusing is one click, in the same place, and is no harder than accepting.
Until you choose, nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies is set. Google’s tags are told at the moment the page loads that they may not store anything in your browser, so no analytics or advertising cookie is written and no advertising identifier is read.
Your choice is remembered in your own browser, not in an account. To change it, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and the banner will ask again. The section below explains where those controls are.

Our record of your choice
When you make a cookie choice we record it, so we can show what you were offered and what you chose. Each record contains a random identifier stored in a cookie on your device (not linked to your name, your email address or any account), the date and time in UTC, the choice you made and the resulting on/off state of each category, the address of the page you were on, your IP address — both in full and in a shortened form — a general description of your browser and operating system such as “Chrome on Windows”, whether a Global Privacy Control signal was present, and the version of the banner and of this policy in force at that moment.
We keep these records for 24 months, and for longer where we are required to preserve them in connection with an actual or anticipated legal claim. They are held on our own server, outside the publicly reachable part of this website, and each entry is cryptographically signed and linked to the entry before it so that later alteration can be detected.
We use these records for one purpose only — to evidence the consent choices made on this website. We do not use them for analytics, marketing, profiling or advertising, and we do not sell or share them. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in being able to demonstrate what was consented to. You can ask what we hold for you using the contact details on this page; the random identifier in your supc_cid cookie is what lets us find it.
